Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what Ollivue ("we", "us") collects when you use the Ollivue app and website, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Ollivue is a goal-planning app where an AI product owner (PO) works with you on your goals, so much of what you tell us is personal. We try to collect only what the Service needs.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and sign-in method (Google or email and password), and your time zone.
- What you put into the app: goals, tasks, sprint plans, chat messages with your PO, check-in answers, proof text and links, your reflections, and the weekly review cards created for you.
- Voice calls: a transcript and a short summary of each call with your PO. We don't store the audio.
- Activity records: events such as "task marked done" or "check-in answered", and usage counts (messages and call minutes), so we can show your progress and apply fair-use limits.
- Device information: a push-notification token, your device type and app version.
- Technical logs: basic request and error logs, kept briefly to keep the Service running and secure.
We don't ask for your contacts, location or payment details.
How we use it
- To run the Service: sign you in, keep your goals and sprints, and write your PO's replies, nudges and reviews.
- To send reminders and check-ins you've allowed as push notifications.
- To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse and apply usage limits.
- To fix problems and improve the Service, using counts and logs rather than reading your chats.
- To answer you when you contact us.
Who processes your data
We use these providers to run Ollivue. They process data for us and for no other purpose of their own, under their own terms:
- Google (Firebase and Google Cloud): sign-in, push notifications, and hosting of our servers (Singapore region).
- OpenAI: the AI that writes your PO's messages and powers voice calls. The relevant parts of your goal and chat are sent to it to produce a reply.
- Apple and Google speech recognition: if you use voice typing in a chat, your phone's own speech recognition turns your speech into text, under Apple's or Google's terms. We receive only the text.
- Neon: our database host (Singapore region), where your data is stored.
We don't sell your personal data and we don't show ads. We may disclose data if the law requires it or to protect people's safety.
Who can see your data
Our team's admin dashboard shows usage and system health, not the text of your messages. Access to the database is limited to the few people who run the Service. We may look at specific content only to investigate abuse, fix a problem you report, or meet a legal duty.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to close your account we delete your personal data, except what we must keep by law or for security, which we keep only as long as needed. Logs are kept for a short period.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to or limit some uses. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, including to complain to your data protection authority. Email hello@ollivue.app from the address on your account and we'll respond. You can switch off notifications in your device settings at any time.
Where your data goes
Our servers and database are in Singapore, and our providers may process data in other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Security
We use encrypted connections, keep secrets out of the app and our code, and restrict access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
Ollivue is not for children under 13 (or the higher age your country requires). If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is important we'll tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
